Any new files should be created directly in this directory, not in
subdirectories. The glide and glissade subdirectories are historical
and should not be used anymore. The files gland20.input_c150415.nc and
greenland_4km_epsg3413_c171126.nc have been copied from elsewhere to
this new structure (the gland20 file came from
glc/cism/gland20.input_c150415.nc and the greenland_4km file came from
glc/cism/Greenland/glissade/init/greenland_4km_epsg3413_c171126.nc).
