Overview

Data products used in the CISM efforts are available here. All data are encapsulated in the netCDF format, and conform to CF 1.3 naming conventions. On this page you will find

    * Present day Antarctica data sets consist of
          o Mean annual surface temperature
          o Ice thickness
          o Accumulation/ablation Rate
          o Ice surface elevation
          o Bed topography
          o Basal heat flux
          o Thickness mask
          o Interferometrically determined surface velocity
          o Melt rate estimate (Under Ross ice streams only)

    * Present day Greenland data sets consist of
          o Ice thickness
          o Bed topography
          o Ice surface elevation
          o Precipitation
          o Basal heat flux
          o Mean annual near-surface(2m) air temperature
          o Surface balance velocity
          o Interferometrically determined surface velocity 

More information about the data sources, projection, and grid are found below. Soon we will be adding data sets reflecting

    * Antarctica after a 125,000 year model spin-up (run to equilibrium with a climate forcing from ice core data).
    * Greenland after a 120,000 year model spin-up.
    * 95 years of climate forcing for Antarctica and Greenland.
