If you can copy over /fs/cgd/data0/hecht/b202.02/ocn.setup.csh to your scripts directory as soon as possible then we'll start getting useful ocn transport diagnostics. There's just a 1 line temporary change in the script which will only work for the gx1v2 resolution; it will read the file from MSS, even though it's a tiny file, so that it will remain in an archival location. This file go into the CVSREPO at the next checkin and then the fix will no longer be needed. This is a blending of a special climatology for the high northern latitides with Levitus '98. Nancy, I'm using the grid with the pole in Hudson's Bay. This is the present-day 1x grid, with one caveat, below. Frank refers to the previous pop grid we used as the "x1prime", and this one as "x1". The two grids do have identical numbers of horizontal gridpts, but with imt and jmt interchanged! Number of vertical levels is different: 40 for Hudson's Bay, 45 for Greenland. The caveat: I'm using a nonstd kmt in this case. The std kmt (which may well be replaced) is /home/blackforest/hecht/pop_x1/data/kmtn.384x320x40.000901.dat.da --Matthew PS: then there is yet another grid at nearly this resolution, and that is the old pcm grid, which produced some integrations that we've worked with.
