Norton Subject: Re: forcing data Nancy, /home/blackforest/hecht/data_gx1v2/shf_320x384.da is actually a link to file that is no longer there. I still have this file as mss:/HECHT/POP/AUX/gx1v2/shf_320x384.da It shouldn't matter that gx1v2 files are still being used, as the fields are not masked, and the horizontal grid has not changed. I haven't found a readme, but I did find some scattered notes. On 17 Nov 2000 I emailed Frank that I had just done interpolations to the gx1 grid. I used scrip to produce mapping files. The grid files and resulting maps are in mss:/HECHT/pop/320x384/remap files GP_x1p_masked_20001117.nc GP_x1p_unmasked_20001117.nc remap_grid.T62.nc remap_grid.ll1deg.nc remap_grid.ll2deg.nc rmp_unmasked_1x1_to_POP_320x384.nc rmp_unmasked_2x2_to_POP_320x384.nc rmp_unmasked_POP_320x384_to_1x1.nc rmp_unmasked_POP_320x384_to_2x2.nc rmp_unmasked_POP_320x384_to_T62.nc rmp_unmasked_T62_to_POP_320x384.nc I got the input data from Julianna, who did similar interpolations for the older 384x320 grid. Here is an email from her describing the preparation of that data. --Matthew >From jcc@cgd.ucar.edu Wed Nov 6 15:37:26 2002 Date: Thu, 7 Sep 2000 12:34:02 -0600 (MDT) From: Julianna Chow To: Frank Bryan Cc: Matthew Hecht Subject: PG1 setup Resent-Date: Wed, 6 Nov 2002 15:37:01 -0700 (MST) Resent-From: Matthew Hecht Resent-To: Matthew Hecht at LANL Resent-Subject: PG1 setup Frank and Matthew, The following is an account of the setup of PG1 data and model run.
