	which set all modified land mask points to have rmask = 7,
	and converts rmask = -7 to rmask = +7.  These changes reflect
	the opening of the Med Sea in gx3v7 compared to gx3v5.  Otherwise,
	the land masks and region mask are equivalent between gx3v5
	and gx3v7.
